The Panamanian Championship of Brazilian Jiu – Jitsu 2011 PRO-AMATEUR GI-NO GI is the only international tournament in the year at organized by the Panamanian Association of Jiu Jitsu (APJJ) with the support of the Panamanian Institute of Sports and International federation of Brazilian JiuJitsu (IBJJF).

With the sponsorship of Top Panamanian companies, Media Coverage across Gracie Magazine, participation of world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes, champions and leaders this one event promises to be the leader of competition in Central America and Caribbean in this sport.

The location of the tournament is the La Salle school Arena in the city of Panama, Republic of Panama. The competitions begin from 8 a.m until 8 p.m. pm both days. 4 areas of combat will be used in this championship and we will be provided with a Referee team certified by the International one Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation, a doctors’ staff, and the athletes safety will be a primary focus during the whole event.

Located in Panama City, this Championship is a great opportunity for those who want to enjoy a trip to heart of the world, and center of the universe

Cost: $50.00  youth  under 17 years old until June 10th. After that date the cost will be $70.00

Cost: $100.00 adults 18 years and older until June 10th. After that date cost will be $120.00

Prizes (See)

More than $50.000 in prizes will be awarded for the adult competitors in the categories PRO-GI and PRO-NO GI, plus respective stamped medals will be given to all winning competitors. The categories AM-GI, AM-NO GI, PRE-MINI, MINI, JUNIORS and JUVENILE stamped APJJ medals will be awarded.  Prizes will be given to competitors competing in their respective categories.

*Only the top four positions qualify for the absolute combats

**Women in white and blue belt categories will fight in the same division of weight and absolute.

***Women in purple, brown and black belt categories will fight in the same division of weight and absolute.

Important:*The Championship will be opened for all the teams of Brazilian JiuJitsu at national and international level.
